The Process
Review
Review your project information and determine if your project is a good fit for Bryce Carpentry. Determining factors: types of work required, scale of project, logistics, existing conditions, budget, schedule….
Site Visit
A project site visit, is usually necessary to gather more information, photos and measurements.
Design
Unless the scope of work is simple and very clear (door repair, replacing a few deck boards, etc.) some amount of design work will be required. At the least, a drawing will be created of the project for a takeoff
(the count of what materials are required for the job: lumber, paint, moldings, etc.).
Estimate
Depending on the complexity and scale of the project, a free estimate my be offered. For smaller, less complicated job, (such as replacing a door) estimates will be free of charge.
Schedule
Once the scope of work and the cost of the project is agreed upon, the project will be on the board.
